There is a new program of federal debt relief as a result of the Great Depression?

So recently inherited a large debt that includes a house a car and a credit card bill. Recently on the radio mentioned a program that has been created to relieve the heavy debt caused by the great recession. no one has heard anything about it. if so can you send me some information on it. thanks

Back to the probate judge, should not have to inherit anything, the house and the car can be sold to pay the bill for the credit card. After all assets are sold, if no other debt is something that is like no pay, you have to pay.

Statute of Limitations in California for the credit card debt is 4 years, according to a letter I read recently.?

Why is that everywhere it is said that 7 years after your creditor can not legally go after?

7 years is the amount of time that a debt is reflected in your credit report. Maybe that's where the confusion is. However, remember that the prescription is renewed each time that acknowledges the debt. So if you charge a credit card in 2008, payments made to date … status that 4 year starts today, not 2008.

im in Texas they're in Ohio, and contact a lawyer in my city to place a court order, I received the papers and I have five days to respond in court, I have this debt (credit card) from 2002 and some credit cards to others who do not pay me, if I do not appear in court, the documents said that they can make judgments about me, what can be done against I can freeze my bank account, put me in jail or what? I have a house and a car in my name, that's all, I also have low incomes, there is no way for me to pay the amount, I can do, please help.

Average Credit Card Debt College Students

Credit cards?

I am a 20 year old college student, I owe about $ 16,000, 6 credit cards with an average of 9% interest. How do you think I should get out of debt? Could you get a student loan and trying to consolidate all in an account to be a good idea?

It's so easy to get into debt when he goes to college. It's amazing how expensive it is nowadays. The best way is to consolidate and when you go through one of those places that have consolidated, you are asked to limit spending on the card until you have paid a good portion of that debt.
